Beneath a steel sky

Here is a rarely seen aspect of Dave’s work. He designed the backgrounds for a PC game called “ Beneath a steel sky “ developed by Revolution Software. Thanks to everyone who wrote in to help me aquire a copy of the game. I finally found a site where you could download the entire game for the PC. Thanks everyone !!!

Get a glimpse at the cool character designs Dave did for the game by clicking on the picture to the right. Hope to get the entire comic to the game online soon.......

Description of the game :

It's a sci-fi adventure game. William Gibson style of science fictionf.

The game tells the story of Robert Foster's search for his father, his name and his identity. With his seriously wacky companion, Joey the droid, Foster's journey takes him beneath the City to confront its secret and his past. The game starts with a helicopter transporting a very important prisoner (us) when a malfunction occurs and the chopper crashes. We manage to escape (only just), but now we have to get out of the city and we don't even know who we are and why we were imprisoned (a little too convenient -- amnesia). As usual, we find out incredible things about the city and ourselves.

Now enjoy some screenshots of the game :
